Ways to pay
1.- Pay as you go
Use contactless or an Oyster card to pay as you go for your travel in London on all our transport services.
With pay as you go, you don’t need to buy a ticket before you travel. All you need to do is touch in and out using contactless (card or device) or an Oyster card to pay the right fare.
Pay as you go is cheaper than buying a paper single or return ticket (train companies may offer special deals on some journeys).
- Pay as you go with an Oyster card: Add money to an Oyster card so you can pay as you go. You can add money to your Oyster card at stations, online with a contactless and Oyster account, local news agents, or through the TfL Go app.
- Pay as you go with contactless: If your bank card shows the contactless payment symbol, you can use it to pay as you go.
- Pay as you go with mobile: Using a mobile payment to pay as you go is the same as using a contactless card. You can pay with devices such as phones, watches, key fobs, stickers or wristbands.
