The start of operations at Terminal 5 in March 2008 marked the beginning of an exciting new chapter for Heathrow. The brand new Terminal 2: The Queen’s Terminal opened for business on 4 June 2014. The first airline to move in was United Airlines.

Just a short distance from your chosen terminal, Terminal Parking, previously known as Short Stay Parking, is ideal for anyone seeking a convenient start and finish to their airport journey, as well as for making passenger drop-offs or pick-ups.
For durations over nine hours, Terminal Parking can, subject to availability, be pre-booked in advance up to two hours before your arrival. Shorter stays of less than nine hours can only be paid for at ticket machines in the car parks or at the exit gates.
PARK & RIDE – FROM £8.00/half an hour – £9.40/hour – £46.80/day
Heathrow Park & Ride, previously known as Long Stay Parking, is the cheapest by pre-bookable rate of the official parking products, making it ideal for holidays and business trips of any length, as well as picking-up and dropping-off passengers.
Located at convenient, on-airport sites, the Park & Ride car parks are connected to the terminal via free shuttle buses, which leave the car parks every 15-minutes, running directly to the terminal doors.
PRIORITY PARK & RIDE – £47.90/day
Priority Park & Ride, previously known as Business Parking, is a great option for those looking to travel in ultra-efficient comfort, whilst also keeping your keys.
Situated at convenient airport perimeter locations, Priority Park & Ride uses on-demand shuttle buses to whisk you to the terminal doors in as little as 10 minutes.
MEET AND GREED PARKING – FROM £143.40/day
Meet & Greet parking is perfect for passengers looking for a hassle-free experience. Drop off your car at the dedicated Meet & Greet reception area of our Terminal Parking, previously known as Short Stay Parking, car parks, where their experienced and professional team will take 360-degree pictures of the car using damage limitation cameras and park your car in a secure, on-site car park.
On return, your car will be waiting for you at the dedicated reception area in your terminal’s Terminal Parking car park.
Damage limitation cameras are only available in Terminals 2, 3 and 5.
VALET PARKING – FROM £143.40/day
Valet Parking makes for the easiest and most convenient start and finish to your airport journey through Heathrow.
On your arrival to your chosen terminal, simply drop off your vehicle in a dedicated section of your terminal’s forecourt, with exemption from paying the Terminal Drop-Off Charge.
From there, the experienced members of staff will park your car in one of our regularly patrolled, on-site storage areas.
On your return, your vehicle will be waiting for you in a dedicated area of your terminal’s Terminal Parking car park.
Heathrow Valet Parking is only available by advanced booking.
POD PARKING – FROM £59.60/day
Heathrow Pod Parking allows you to get to and from Terminal 5 in a driverless, electric vehicle in just six minutes.

TAXI SERVICE
London’s famous black taxis stop at the ranks outside each Heathrow terminal. Drivers are fully licensed and have passed the Knowledge of London examination. All taxis have wheelchair access.
Taxi fares vary depending on when you travel.
There is an extra charge of £1.60 for journeys that start from one of the Heathrow Airport taxi ranks.
There is an extra charge of up to £6.00 for dropping off passengers in one of the terminal drop-off zones at Heathrow Airport. The drop-off extra is to help taxi drivers cover the cost of the Terminal Drop-Off Charge (TDOC) introduced by Heathrow Airport Limited (HAL).

Lost and Found at Heathrow Airport LHR
All lost property at Heathrow is managed by Smarte Carte UK Ltd. You can use their online database to search for your items. We store all lost property items for three months from the date it was found or handed in. If you’ve lost something in the terminal, follow these steps to get your missing items back.
- Search their database: click here
- Claim property online: If you find your property on the database, use the online contact form to start the matching process.
- Tell the where to send it: If the property is yours, they’ll give you a code. Go to mailmyproperty.com, type in your code, pay the service fee and tell them where to send it.
How much does it cost?
You only pay a service fee if you want to reclaim your item. Charges range from nothing to £25 for each item. Add shipping and handling costs if you would like the item sent to you.
Main lost property
The main lost property office can be found at the Heathrow Express station between Terminals 2 and 3. It is accessible via the escalator from the main concourse.
Terminal 5 lost property
The Terminal 5 lost property office can be found near domestic arrivals on the ground floor.
